eye candy [ongoing]	Through this series of photographs, the viewer is invited into a foreign aesthetic. Inspired by the Japanese kitsch and aesthetics, these still lives sail through the very still waters of banality. However, while in one hand we stand before eye candy, on the other, we are invited into reflecting on the intricacies of how these images come to be and their relation to "mono no aware" and "wabi-sabi".
